Respite Care

Full-time or part-time family member carers need regular time away from their important role of caring for relatives and friends to recharge their batteries.

Simply Helping considers these family carers as crucial as those to whom they look after.

Our respite care service can be provided within the individual’s home, or being taken to a social outing may be enjoyed.

Activities to be undertaken will usually be identified in the client’s Care Plan following discussion with the people concerned. We believe that it is important that clients remain in touch with their personal interests, and to provide social and mental stimulation.

Every effort is made to match the Simply Helping carer to the client’s linguistic, cultural and general requirements, and similar interests. This information will be provided to Simply Helping by the client and/or their family.
