Fred Hollows Foundation

Simply Helping is delighted to officially announce our partnership with The Fred Hollows Foundation. We believe in giving back to our community and helping Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in gaining equal access to eye health care and treatment.

In Australia, The Fred Hollows Foundation is focused on ensuring no Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Person is needlessly blind or vision impaired.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are three times more likely to go blind than other Australians. The Fred Hollows Foundation works tirelessly in remote communities to provide vital medical treatment for better eye health. It also supports Aboriginal Community Controlled Health organisations to deliver culturally appropriate services to their own communities.

Together, Simply Helping and The Fred Hollows Foundation aim to make a lasting impact on Australia’s First Peoples and achieve our goal of closing the gap on eye health.

Care & Ageing Well Expo 2021

The Care & Ageing Well Expo 2021 – Perth

Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre on 14-15 August 2021.

All Australians deserve to age well, and it’s never too early to start planning. Whether you’re planning for your own needs or the needs of loved ones, the Care and Ageing Well Expo in Perth is a great place to start.

The preferred care option for many Australians as they age, is to age at home. Care and supports can be funded through Home Care Packages, subsidised by the government. If home care is an aged care option that you’d prefer, pop in and visit the Simply Helping booth at the expo. Our home care specialists will be available to offer loads of helpful information about our wide range of home care services and supports, and answer any queries you may have about maintaining your independence and the lifestyle you choose as you grow older.

We look forward to seeing you there!
