Meet Our Manager
Meet Sylvia. She’s our friendly, outgoing manager here at Simply Helping Inner & South Eastern Melbourne. Sylvia is a people person, and looks forward to making new connections. For many years, she has enjoyed a successful career as a front office manager and personal assistant in the tourism industry in Germany and Australia. These experiences, along with her passion to help others, have helped Sylvia develop exceptional customer service skills.
Recognising that many Australians are without family support and prefer to remain living in their own homes, moved Sylvia to tap into the home care sector in 2013, where she could make a positive difference. Engaging warmly with people from all walks of life, her caring and compassionate nature reflects on the entire team at Simply Helping Inner & South Eastern Melbourne. Together, we are all dedicated to completing our duty of care to the best of our ability.
Our Philosophy
All too often we heard of people moving unnecessarily into residential care facilities. We recognised a need for a local provider of high-quality in-home care services to support people so they could continue to live in the comfort of their own home – for as long as possible. By offering flexible home care solutions that allow people to have choice and control over their care supports, we aim to prevent early admissions into care facilities.

To do this, we welcome and encourage consumer directed care. Having control over your care services promotes self-governance and helps create a healthy mindset. With our wide range of in-home care services available, you have the choice and power to influence the design and delivery of the services you need.

The Simply Helping Inner and South Eastern Melbourne team share a common goal to provide person-centred in-home care. We appreciate that everybody’s needs are different, and that we all have our own unique circumstances. Therefore, our in-home care services can be tailored to meet your individual requirements. Our Team
Our large and culturally diverse team strive to deliver consistent, high-quality disability and aged care services, 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.
All Simply Helping team members are qualified, have been Police Checked, and hold Working With Children Checks. However, being a capable and efficient care worker is more than just the training and security checks. We look for team members who have a caring nature and real-world experience. They understand the importance of being able to have a good old-fashioned chat and can lend an empathetic ear. Our carers are always respectful and supportive, encouraging you to achieve your goals.
